Biography

Prof. Archil Khomassuridze is the General Director of the “I. Zhordania Institute of Reproductology”, & Zhordania Institute of Human Reproduction and Chairman of the Department of Reproductology Obstetrics and Gynecology at I. Javakhisvili Tbilisi State University. He completed his Doctorate in the All-Union Institute of Clinical and Experimental Endocrinology, Moscow, Russia. He serves as a President of the Georgian Planned Parenthood Federation and The Academician of Georgian Academy of Medico-Biological Sciences and a member of it’s Presidium, Georgian Planned Parenthood Federation, Academician of the Georgian Academy of Natural Sciences and Georgian Association of Reproductive Health. He is a Former Head for the Department of Reproductology at Georgian State Medical Academy and Chief Editor of the Journal “Reproductology” . He is also a Founder of the Georgian Association of Reproductive Health, Head for the Department of Reproductology at Georgian State Medical Academy and the Journal “Reproductology”. He is having a Membership in the International Academy of Human Reproduction, Georgian Academy of Medico-Social Sciences, Editorial Board of the Practical Journal of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Neonatology , Editorial Board of the Scientific-Practical Journal “Status Praesens”, Editorial Board of Georgian National Academy Journal “Biomedicine”, Editorial Board of Scientific-Practical Journal “Oncology”, Editorial Board of Scientific-Practical Journal “Obstetrics, Gynecology, Reproductology”, New-York Scientific Academy, Chicago Scientific Academy and International Geographic Society and International Federation of Fertility Societies ( IFFS).
