Dr. Dalia Dawoud is a lecturer at the Clinical and Pharmaceutical Sciences Department, University of Hertfordshire, UK. She is an expert in Pharmacoeconomics and health technology assessment (HTA), with a special focus on the pharmacoeconomic aspects of diabetes management in general and long-acting insulin therapy in particular. Dr. Dawoud has published a number of articles from her work on the NICE guideline for the diagnosis and management of Type 1 diabetes in adults (NG89). She is Associate Editor for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research for the journal Research in Social and Administrative Pharmacy.
